Should you Visualize as the Dreamer or the Observer?

By Stephen Martile

Do you visualize or are you a skeptic? It can work if you it. It's not what you do, it's how you do it. There are two ways to visualize. One works and the other well..... not so much.

Let me get into the two types of visualization that I've used.

1st Person: this is visualization that occurs through your own eyes; the dream state.

Third person: this is a disassociated state where you are looking from an observer point of view.

When you look through your own eyes, you create the feeling of having the experience now. And when you feel the feelings, you're increasing your frequency of vibration. Increased vibration accelerates attraction. Or in other words, the higher the vibration the higher your "attracting" ability.

How is vibration changed?

By your feelings. Try this exercise.

Focus on being in the third person. Maybe you're on beach somewhere warm. Just picture yourself sitting at the beach with your sunglasses and catching some rays. How do you feel?

This time become the dreamer. Actually step inside your body and look through your own eyes. Feel the heat radiating from the sunshine and the sand beneath your feet. Hear the waves crashing upon the shore line and the breeze whispering in your ear. See the beautiful colors in the sky and the brightness of the sun. How did you feel this time?

The experience of being the first person will always generate stronger feelings than seeing yourself in the dream. Your vibration is multiplied when you can feel those feelings during the vibration. It also means your giving more power to your mental image or visualization.

When you get into the feeling of your visualization you've effectively increased your vibration. And by increasing your vibration, you've accelerated your ability to attract those experiences into your life. The subconscious mind works best with emotions; so the better then feeling you get, the better your ability to attract.

You see, you're vibration is directly linked to the way you feel. Feel good and you've got a high vibration. Feel bad and you'll lower your frequency of vibration.

3rd Person Visualization

There are some fringe benefits to visualizing in the third person:

* Third person visualization is great for seeing new solutions to problems. It can provide you with a new perspective that you may not have considered when looking through your own eyes.

* When you distant yourself from a situation it can also remove negative feelings. And if you don't feel as bad, you can make more intelligent decisions.

* Visualizing in the third person allows you to see your own blind spots. It gives you the privilege and opportunity to see yourself the way others see you.

Keep in mind that both are important so become skillful being the first person dreamer or the third person observer. The experience will make you a powerful deliberate creator.
