How to Teach Your Dog to Come and When to Say No!

Once you have created a loving relationship with your best friend, teaching him to "Come" when you call can be a fairly simple behavioral implementation. As the line is dragged along the surface, say his name and follow it up with "Come." If he doesn't obey (as he probably won't the first few times), just give a quick tug on the line. Be gentle, he's trying to learn. Continue with this procedure until he responds immediately. At this time, you can substitute a leash for the line. Most dogs will accept this new command within a week.

Just like children, your sweet cuddly little guy needs to learn to understand the word "No." This training must be consistently used with gentle correction for maximum impact. An example of utilizing this training would be to attach the long line to his collar, place a treat or food in the training area and, just prior to him reaching and gobbling up the treat, use the word "No" and gently tug the line. You will undoubtedly need to use this method until he has understood the association between the word "No" and any unwanted behavior.

Your dog will quickly learn to associate the word "No" with negative behavior and you will no longer have to depend on correcting him in order to achieve success in this area. He will show his love and trust for you by being obedient.

Incorrect behavior after training is not that uncommon. You dog could simply be confusedor he could be testing you. Just be gentle but consistent. Every dog is a bit different and will respond in a different manner to commands. Above all, keep your sessions short and exercise patience. Treat him to some free time afterwardstoss a ball, go for a long walk together, and just have fun. Give him lots of pats and praise. Common Reasons For Acid Reflux

Hiatal hernias are another reason that one may experience acid reflux. The hiatus is a hole that is located in the diaphragm, helping to secure the passageway between the esophagus and the stomach. The hiatus is usually tight, keeping the organs separate. However, if the hiatus is weakened, it can loosen up and lead to a small part of the stomach actually protruding through the hole.

This condition is known as a hiatus hernia. These hernias are not responsible for acid reflux directly, but they can cause the LES muscles to not function properly, ultimately leading to reflux problems.

On top of all the previous causes, certain drugs can also play a part. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can sometimes lead to acid reflux, as well as aggravating the condition in people who already have it.

These are common drugs and are in a number of well-known brands such as Motrin, Advil, Aleve, and Nuprin. A recent study showed that people who were taking these drugs had twice as much chance of experience at least some symptoms of acid reflux disease.

You also need to get a microphone. There is also a "lite" version of the program that can be downloaded for free. It shows you how the program works with a few of the introductory lessons. You can get a feel for the program and whether it would suit your learning style. Then you can upgrade to the paid version.

all of these programs can help you get to a capable level of Spanish, but they are only as good as the person using them. You have to use them often and work at your Spanish language skills.

Do Singers Have to Use the Head Voice?

What exactly does the head voice mean for a singer? It is a delicately high sound in a woman's singing voice and a falsetto (high sound) for a man's singing voice, and seems to reverberate with the sinus cavities of the nose. A singer should build up enough vocal skills so that it will be easier to transition between chest voice and head voice, where the notes are higher.

The higher part of the vocal range is often called the head voice. When you sing at this level, the singer will feel the vibration in their head. This is felt by most singers above the roof of their mouth just behind the vocal cavity like tingling feeling in their throat.

When the singer embarks on trying to use the head voice there can be the transition period called the Passagio. This can occur between the register of notes from the chest voice or head voice, basically from middle to high notes of the vocal range. The pure head register can begin all through the middle register more so after the passagio---which will become more pronounced and the singing will feel very differently.

Breath is not resisted because there are fewer folds to deal with. The head voice surfaces when the glottis is partially open. After awhile, most singers will get accustomed to the transition of using the chest and the head voice with ease so that it sounds very natural.

If a singer uses the chest voice, the lower notes are sung and the head voice will be the higher notes that are sung. If you place your hand on your chest when you sing with the chest, the vibration will be felt in the throat and the chest. But the right way for singers to sing the chest voice is to purely experience the vibration in the chest area.

It can take time and practice to develop the correct head voice, and like all singing at the beginning it will also take a lot of patience. When being taught to sing from the head voice, most people will be asked to sing an octave above the note they sang for the chest voice. Again with proper coaching they will be taught the proper breathing technique.

If you are being taught correctly you will feel none to very little vibration in the throat. It can sometimes be very difficult to determine any vibration when singing in the head voice. Remember you can use some imagination while you place your hand on your forehead as you can sometimes feel there is a vibration there.

If you are taking voice lessons as a beginner, you may be classified in a temporary voice category that may not really describe your voice. Some singers think that since they can't sing the high pitches they may be an alto, for example. But in truth, they may not have studied the correct method to reach the head voice, so that after they do learn the head voice, they may be eventually classified as a soprano.

Playing guitar: how to do it the right way

From there, your thumb is in position for constructing chords.When you are constructing chords it is ok to press your thumb into the back of the guitar neck, albeit this is more in common with playing guitar scales. You should try both thumb positions and then you will be able to use the one that is most comfortable for you.

Strum the strings with your right hand to make sounds. Position your right arm over the body of the guitar. Your right bicep should rest on the top of the guitar. Position your right hand in front of the guitar's sound hole. When playing guitar, the sound comes out of the sound hole.

Many people chose to play guitar with a pick. In order to use a pick it should be held between the forefinger and thumb of your dominant hand. Then the pick is pulled across the strings in order to "strum". It is similar to plucking, but more pressure is necessary then you would use with just your fingers.

If you're left handed, you'll be happy to know that guitars are available for left-handed players. If you can't find a suitable one for playing guitar left-handed, simply buy a regular guitar and have re-stringing done to reverse the order of the strings.

Put the shaft holder over your club shaft and tighten the vise. Cut a piece of tape 8.0 inches long. Place it along the butt of the shaft leaving a half-inch over the end of the shaft. Wrap the tape around the shaft and push it slightly into the shaft to seal the end of the club. Squeeze solvent along the tape, fill the grip about three quarters full of solvent, put your finger over the hole in the end of the grip and then squeeze the grip opening closed.

Now shake the grip so that solvent covers the entire inside and pour the solvent along the tape. Push the grip up and over the shaft butt then hold the grip by the front and back and push applying equal pressure with both hands. Clean up any excess solvent from the grip and let it set for an hour. Good Luck re-gripping your golf clubs!
