Vegas, Vacations And Golf, Worry Free.

By Charles Davis

With a few quick, easy steps you can easily plan a hassle-free Las Vegas golf vacation of a lifetime. A little bit of planning ahead can ensure that the only worry you have on your trip will be your score.

First things first. Take a good hard look before selecting a golf package or a discount golf vacation. An abundance of courses means there's plenty of places to play in Vegas, but they're not all the same. Extra time spent reading reviews online, and making sure the place you're staying or playing is reputable will be well worth your while.

If you are traveling on a budget make sure that you leave some wiggle room in your wallet. There is perhaps no easier place in the world to spend your money at the expense of a good time. It may be worth it to select a more basic golf package if it means not having to depend on a slot machine to get enough cash to get back home.

Some costs to keep in mind when budgeting your trip are such standard expenses as caddies, gratuities, parking fees, groceries, and transportation to and from courses off-resort. Make sure to keep extra handy for any little expenses that might pop up.

Playing golf can require a large amount of accessories, many of which are only remembered too late for convenience. Before you hit the airport, make sure you've got a hat, sunscreen, chapstick, sunglasses, band-aids, and pain relievers. Commonplace items like these can have a big impact on your round of golf, and aren't useful if they're left at home.

Air travel today is notoriously difficult, and traveling with your golf clubs makes it that much tougher. This is especially true because airline baggage policies for golf clubs vary from airline to airline. Check online with your specific airline or airlines to make sure that you donat have to leave any equipment at the baggage check-in.

When you get to Vegas, check-in at your resort or hotel should include checking to see if the hotel is offering any upgrades. A better room or a better deal may just require asking for it. Online reviews may provide clues as to what they've offered other people.

Whether you are a single or with a group, it is hard to go wrong with a golf package. However, remembering some of these basic things can make sure that a minor detail does not make your trip memorable for the wrong reasons. It pays to plan for a worry-free Vegas golf vacation.
