Is Free TV For My PC Really Worth It?

By Andy OConnor

Free TV for pc is likely to be something you have heard about recently. More people are discovering how easy it is to access. They are also very happy with the picture and sound that come with it.

The huge selection of TV channels available with free TV for PC systems is just incredible. The better service providers are able to offer over 3,000 satellite/cable TV channels covering all the usual programs like movies, documentaries, sports, news, music, kids' & more.

The great news is, you most likely won't need to invest in any extra hardware for your PC. Nothing more than the hardware that comes with your standard PC these days is required to access free TV for your PC.

All you will need is to install the free TV for PC software on your computer. Some websites offer this software for free (and make their money from ads on their sites instead), but from personal experience I would stay away from the free software versions. The free versions have very limited channel selection and are really a waste of time. For less than $50 you can get set up with software that offers you over 3,000 channels!

PC based satellite TV also comes with a full TV guide that displays on your computer screen. No, you don't have to guess what shows are on when! It's also possible to set up email alerts so you don't forget to watch your favourite TV show.

Another advantage with a free TV for PC system is you can take it with you wherever you go. If you move house, you take the system with you (unlike a traditonal satellite TV service that needs to be reinstalled) or if you have a laptop, just install the software on that and you can have acces to satellite TV wherever you travel in the world.

Recent advances in technology have made it incredibly easy to start using PCs to watch satellite TV on. Millions of people around the world are now using free TV for their PC as it's so quick & easy to set up, & saves them a fortune over traditional satellite TV services.

It's very convenient to be able to access TV viewing this way. Once you get set up, you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner!
