Professional Landing Page Generators Are They Effective?

By June Carr

We live in a fast tempo world, the Internet is immediate, sales are made quickly, downloads are expected immediately after completion of a sale, fail in any step of the process and sales will plummet. Knowing that how is it possible to create a professional landing page, one that captures the reader's attention, points them easily and quickly to a decision resulting in a sale? The answer can be complicated or easy, depending on your skill set or the software you utilize.

Landing pages are actually designed with one thought in mind, to get your visitors to make a decision, preferable the decision that you want them to make. The difficulty is creating a landing page that will influence your visitor, touch upon the emotional triggers that will cause them to buy, is what separates a good landing page from a mediocre one. If your landing page is not causing the proper reaction, you either must make a change, or lose sales. The question is, will you do it by hand or use a landing page generator?

Even with professional know-how, crafting and creating a good landing page can take significant time and resources; however was software it can be done very quickly. This software can allow you to create more than one version of the landing page (good for split testing) quickly and easily.

Perhaps there will come a day when our computers will have true artificial intelligence, and understand both the art and science of marketing, today however we still must use our brains and understand the mind of our visitor. Certainly we'd craft a different landing page for a single mom then for a teen interested in gaming. Landing page generators (good ones) guide you through the process, prompting you to make informed decisions that will affect the look and feel of your landing page. By doing so you'll be adding the proper formatting, graphics, video and emotional triggers that accomplish two things.

1. Provide your visitor with exactly what they want.
2. Result in a sale for you.

When you look at a properly constructed landing page, you'll see a page that leads your visitor from point A to point B, all designed to have them take the desired action. This is obviously good sales techniques, and yes, it can be learned and accomplished by hand, however it is both time consuming and challenging to get it right. Think of a landing page generator this way, an excellent programmer, a great graphic artist, a talented copywriter, combining their talents to provide you (the end user) with everything needed to craft a professional page.

There is no need to make an elaborate page full of graphics, JavaScript, and fancy web widgets; only a simple page that answers the question that the user is asking.

Take everything mentioned above, and multiply it by a factor of 10, or 100, then imagine how difficult it would be to create and test that number of landing pages. If you're asking the question, "well all I need is one simple landing page", then I'll invite you to expand your outlook and realize that every landing page should be split test.

FACTOID: performing a split test is a way to find out which page outpolls the other. With this knowledge, we can show our visitors the page with the overall best sales percentage.

There are many tools, a marketer can effectively use to increase their sales (conversion rate) and one of the most important tools is a landing page generator, used properly it can take your marketing to the next level of success.
