Don't Fall For The Latest Fad Diets To Lose Weight

By Don Raemond

Brand new diets to lose weight come out almost every. If you've decided to lose weight you'll quickly notice diet and weight loss ads everywhere you look. Each ad seems to contradict the next one, which leaves you wondering if any of their claims are true.

The secret to meaningful weight loss is not a secret at all, and it doesn't involve depriving yourself or hitching on to the latest trendy diet program. Most of those fad diets to lose weight are unhealthy at best.

A good weight loss plan doesn't include "dieting", at least not the way you normally think about dieting. Keep this one important thought in mind about losing weight; a healthy weight loss plan shouldn't be unpleasant at all. You should feel satisfied when you finish your meals.

Eating a balanced diet, including lots of fresh foods, leafy green vegetables and lean meats (if meat is a part of your normal diet) will result in weight loss if done properly. The key to any good diet to loose weight is to eat several small meals every day.

Eat breakfast to get you off to a good start, then have a healthy snack 2-3 hours later. Eat lunch, then grab a snack a little later. Eat dinner and then have a small snack later in the evening, but not to close to bedtime. Eat enough to feel satisfied, but not stuffed.

Eating that way beats the trousers off of those trendy, fad diets to lose weight. You can, and will lose weight if you eat several small meals daily. You just have to want it bad enough to be willing to change your old habits. If you just try it for 3 weeks or so, it will become a part of you.

A word of encouragement...if you find yourself slipping back into your old patterns of behavior, don't beat yourself up. Many people who attempt to make significant adjustments to their behavior fail once or twice. Don't quit on yourself! Simply dust yourself off and try once more. You will succeed!

If you want to lose weight and feel great, follow these guidelines;

1) Stay away from trendy, fad diets to lose weight.

2) Your weight loss program should NOT be unpleasant.

3) Eat five or six small, healthy meals throughout the day.

4) Eat until you feel satisfied, but don't stuff yourself.

5) Don't quit on yourself. Stay with it until eating several small meals becomes your NEW habit.

When you are accustomed to your new and healthy diet, begin an exercise program which includes activities you enjoy. With a healthy diet AND exercise program, you will start to see the pounds disappear.
