Sometimes, you want to just know how it feels like to be encompassed in a certain world while staying in Orlando. If you ever wanted to check in on a place that is all inclusive and totally different, then a resort will probably be your best choice. Staying in a resort will make you feel like you've lived an actual world that is different from your normal routine. Of course, resorts in Orlando aren't exactly that many or as popular but if you want to stay somewhere that is not bustling with the normal activity in a hotel or other accommodations, then resorts are ideal for you.
In Orlando, the most famous resorts are those provided by Disney. These resorts, while providing the same amenities and convenience hotels offer such as shuttle and room services, also provide something unique and different to the tourist: the inclusion of themes. In a snap, you will just find yourself in a wild, tropical island (such as the Polynesian Resort theme) or be immersed in the sweltering jungle (that you can have if you decide to choose the Wilderness Lodge resort). For that great American feeling, you can get a decent value in All Stars Resort. The wonderful experience comes as a price, though (and a hefty one at that): US$200 to US$2000 per night's stay.
Not all resorts are prohibitively expensive, however. There are some that offer some sort of mini-vacations programs. In this kind of offer, the the stays in the resort are cheaper on the condition that you will participate in a tour of the properties that they have as well as attend a sales presentation that lasts for about an hour or two. Although buying is not a requirement on the former and the latter often has free gifts for participation, the mini-vacation is only offered to people the resort management thinks are their target market. So if you think that you have the financial capability to go through these, then the market is obviously your best choice.
