How About The Temperature

It is important so that you can enjoy the palatable taste. If too hot, you might scald your tongue or if you drink it immediately. Let it cool for a while. But you have to remember don't cool it for too long otherwise it losses its taste.

The best temperature for brewing coffee is just off the boil. Meaning this puts the water or the coffee mixture at around 195 degrees. For extracting the correct flavor from the beans that you use, this is the right temperature . This is if you brew your coffee without the brewer or drip coffee maker. The term just off the boil means after the water has reached a rolling boil; you should quickly take it off the heat and wait for around two minutes before serving. It is perfect for drinking slowly. You must exercise care when you are drinking just served drink because in many cases, this is scalding hot and it may burn your tongue.

You may ask what is the right standing temperature for serving coffee, it will be at 165 - 175 degrees. Two things to remember, do not stand the coffee too long or the coffee will lose its flavor and don't leave the coffee while standing cos you can forget about it. The other thing is if you use cups it cools quicker than brewed coffee in a carafe or an air pot.

Some of us may have one cup of coffee per day that is in the morning, but for those who are heavy drinkers, they drink in the morning, after every meals day or night and during their break times. There is no limit for them.

Why are people so addicted to drinking hot coffee? This is because it is one type of gentle stimulants that gives the coffee lovers a kick when they are having a cup of coffee.
